Fees for some classes and fees for some books.  It’s become more common in Montgomery County public schools and Delegate Kumar Barv wants to put a stop to it.  So, he says he’ll introduce a bill, when the MD legislature returns to session, to ban fees statewide.


West Nile Virus Identified in Gaithersburg

Mosquitoes found in Gaithersburg last month are the first in Maryland to test positive for West Nile Virus.  The state’s Secretary of Agriculture says it’s not surprising and it’s a reminder to protect yourself.
