Bill to Ban School Fees Put in the Hopper by Gaithesburg Delegate

Fees for some classes and fees for some books.  It’s become more common in Montgomery County public schools and Delegate Kumar Barv wants to put a stop to it.  So, he says he’ll introduce a bill, when the MD legislature returns to session, to ban fees statewide.

    Maryland law already bans fees from being charged for public school classes. MCPS doesn’t want to obey the law that already exists, what law will they obey?
